Burda International

At the beginning of July 2014, Burda Praha and Burda MEDIA 2000 merged. The merger ended the acquisition of the former Hachette Filipacchi 2000, which was wholly owned by Burda International in June 2011. Hachette Filipacchi 2000 was subsequently transformed into BURDA Media 2000 and the company continued in publishing important lifestyle titles ELLE, Marianne, Maxim, Apetit, and Marianne Bydlení. Thanks to the merger, these titles were transferred to the portfolio of the Burda Praha publishing house. Burda International, to which Burda Prague also belongs, is a member of the Hubert Burda Media holding. Burda International operates in 17 countries and currently publishes more than 230 magazines, as well as a large number of digital projects. Burda International, a European publishing company with more than 2,400 people, is rapidly expanding into the South American and Asian markets. We owe the development of the publishing house not only to the professional team of people but also to all readers who bring us more and more motivation with their favor.
