Marianne changes logo and visual direction

The new logo and design is not the only change happening this year. Magazine Marianne keeping also for this year the Magazine of the year title in the category sold circulation 50 – 100 thousand copies, annually announced by the Czech Publishers Union recently withdrew from it’s original slogan “Life begins at thirty” and presented redesigned websites as well.  Changes the magazine is going through are proceeding consistently with Marianne’s philosophy Marianne representing a magazine for confident and intelligent women setting no limits for reader’s age.
 
The new visual image author is the creative consultant Werner Mink who supervised as art director the visual design of successful titles Glamour and Vanity Fair in Germany, created the graphical direction of Glamour launching in Brazil and cooperates on a long term basis with international brands not only from the media segment. Czech Marianne team was choosing from several different design options Mink was working on for almost a half year.
 
I truly believe the Marianne readers will like the new design. Comparing with other years the magazine looks more fresh and playful.  There is more color inside but as Werner Mink chose them in transparent pastel tone the feeling is very sophisticated in the end. The content of the magazine wasn’t changed at all, still the readers will find so popular interviews and intelligent features, we have only strengthen the visual itself in the magazine. I’m very happy we had the chance to cooperate with one of the leading Europe designers because he brought global design elements into Marianne,” commenting Petra Švecová, Marianne Editor in chief.  
 
First issue presenting the new fresh design and new logo is the September issue. “Due to Marianne Days, the most successful shopping event in Czech Republic and Slovakia, the magazine is sold with the discount coupons and also this year we expect a record sale. To present the new design and logo in time the magazine hits the biggest group of audience was just a logical step to do” explaining Petra Fundová, CEO of Burda Praha.
 
Marianne September issue is coming out on August 27th 2015.
